Publication Ethics

Every author who submits a manuscript to Stage of Time: Journal of Social Change must adhere to the principles of publication ethics. The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity, transparency, and scientific quality in all stages of the publication process.

Authors are expected to comply with the following ethical principles:

• Scientific Integrity

  Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be based on sound scientific methods and provide findings, analyses, or arguments that can be academically justified.

• Research Responsibility

  Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented in their manuscripts and must be prepared to provide supporting data when requested by the editorial board.

• Contribution to Social Change Research

  Submitted articles should be relevant to the focus and scope of the journal and contribute to the advancement of interdisciplinary research on societal transformation and historical or modern trajectories of social change.

• Relevance to Journal Scope

  Manuscripts are expected to address topics related to the mechanisms, impacts, and pathways of social change, exploring how various societies adapt to shifting global challenges throughout different eras.

• Academic and Social Impact

  Authors are encouraged to produce research that contributes meaningfully to academic discourse, social policy, development, and sustainable solutions to contemporary challenges faced by communities worldwide.

• Multiple or Concurrent Publication

  Authors should not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal. Manuscripts submitted to Stage of Time: Journal of Social Change must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere.

• Ethical Compliance

  Research involving human participants, communities, or sensitive social data must comply with applicable ethical standards and regulations. Authors should ensure that informed consent, confidentiality, and participant rights are properly protected.
